The Opening Ceremony Wearable Bracelet

People don't want the whole world in their hands anymore. They want it on their wrist. In the past year we've seen countless wearable tech bracelets hit the fashion scene. From the Apple Watch and Kenneth Cole Connect Watch, to collaborations with the likes of Tory Burch for Fitbit, the gap between tech and fashion is shrinking fast. However, these wearables often compromise style, or the stylish versions are offered at a price premium (we're talking to the tune of $17,000 for the Apple Watch). Which is why we're so excited about Opening Ceremony's newest wearable tech bracelet - the MICA.

The MICA, or My Intelligent Communication Accessory, allows you to text and email, provides calendar and event notifications, gives Yelp recommendations, connects you to Facebook, tells time, and more. But more importantly, it's super stylish. With its 18 K gold coating, curved sapphire display, and jewel encrusted surface, this might be the most innovative statement piece yet.

We love how Kat Tanita of With Love From Kat put together a blue tonal outfit pairing perfectly with the lapis stone. For more MICA style inspiration, check out Refinery29. If you're confused how this wrist wonder works, check out the video below.
