Design for Good with Rosie G, The 10 Year Old Wonder

Grace Rose is the CEO and lead designer behind fashion label Rosie G.  Grace (pictured to the right) is a bubbly 10 year old, wiser than her years, who has cystic fibrosis - a disease without a cure. It's hard to tell behind all of these smiles, balloons and skirts that this kid, excuse us, CEO, has a disease - but that is what is most inspiring about Grace. Rather than letting it anchor her, she prefers it to be the wind in her sails.

Since her first birthday Grace has designed and auctioned off garments annually to raise money and awareness of cystic fibrosis.

As Grace states in her designer statement, "[her] plan is to #cureCF #instyle

This year, due to popular demand she is moving into e-commerce, expanding her line and creative juices to design things with meaning. As the line is designed and produced in Los Angeles, Grace values the Made In USA label and is committed to conscious consumption. Wow, she makes my playing with legos at age ten look so infantile.
